The ABB LST300 Ultrasonic Level Transmitter is a high-performance non-contact level
measurement solution designed for accurate and reliable monitoring of liquids in industrial
process applications. Manufactured by ABB, the LST300 utilizes advanced ultrasonic
technology to measure liquid levels without direct contact with the process media, making it
ideal for corrosive, contaminated, and aggressive liquid applications.
The transmitter operates by emitting ultrasonic pulses toward the liquid surface and calculating
the distance based on the echo return time. Its intelligent signal processing technology ensures
stable and accurate measurement even in challenging environments involving vapors,
turbulence, foam, or fluctuating surfaces. The compact and rugged industrial design allows
reliable operation in harsh indoor and outdoor process conditions.
The ABB LST300 supports standard industrial communication outputs such as 4–20 mA and
HART protocol for seamless integration with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems. With easy setup,
