The Flushing Ring from IPS Automation is an industrial instrumentation accessory used with
diaphragm seal systems to support cleaning, flushing, venting, draining, and calibration of
pressure measurement points. It is installed between the process flange and the diaphragm
seal, creating an accessible chamber with side flushing ports that allow deposits, sediments,
viscous media, or crystallized process material to be removed without dismantling the complete
measuring assembly. Flushing rings are especially useful in applications where process media
can clog the diaphragm seal or affect measurement accuracy. By allowing cleaning fluid, purge
media, or calibration pressure to be introduced through the flushing ports, the ring helps
maintain reliable pressure readings, reduce downtime, and improve the service life of pressure
transmitters, pressure gauges, and diaphragm seal assemblies. They can be supplied with one
or two flushing bores, threaded or flanged connections, plugs, and optional mounted valves
depending on the application requirement.
