A Snubber is a protective instrumentation accessory designed to reduce the effects of pressure
pulsations, surges, vibration, and sudden pressure spikes in process systems. Installed
between the pressure source and the measuring instrument, the snubber helps stabilize
pressure readings and protects sensitive instruments such as pressure gauges, transmitters,
and switches from damage caused by fluctuating process conditions.
Manufactured using high-quality SS316L stainless steel, snubbers provide excellent corrosion
resistance, high-pressure durability, and long service life in demanding industrial environments.
Pressure damping is achieved through a porous sintered stainless steel element or adjustable
restriction mechanism that smooths out rapid pressure changes before they reach the
instrument.
