Static Mixers

Static Mixers are precision-engineered devices designed to achieve homogeneous mixing of fluids within a pipeline or process stream. Utilizing a series of strategically placed mixing elements, our static mixers ensure thorough and consistent blending of liquids, gases, or a combination of both, without the need for moving parts. These mixers are ideal for a wide range of applications across various industries, providing reliable performance, low maintenance, and high mixing efficiency.

The Static Mixer from IPS Automation is a precision-engineered inline mixing device designed
for continuous blending, dispersion, dilution, emulsification, and homogenization of liquids,
gases, and process fluids in industrial pipelines. Unlike dynamic mixers, static mixers have no
moving parts; they use the energy of the flowing stream and a series of fixed internal mixing
elements to divide, rotate, recombine, and redistribute the fluid for uniform mixing.
Static mixers are widely used in manufacturing and process industries where consistent mixing
quality, compact installation, low maintenance, and energy-efficient operation are required. They
can be customized based on flow rate, viscosity, pressure drop, pipe size, process media,
material compatibility, and required mixing performance. Static mixers are suitable for liquid
liquid, gas-liquid, gas-gas, and chemical dosing applications, making them a reliable solution for
process optimization and improved product consistency.

  • Storage tanks and process pipelines
  • Laboratory and calibration systems
  • Process skids and automation panels
  • Temperature measurement with transmitters, indicators, PLCs, and DCS systems

Compact Pipeline Installation

The inline design saves space and can reduce the need for large mixing tanks or external agitation systems in suitable applications.

Consistent Inline Mixing

The fixed internal elements continuously split and recombine the flow stream, helping achieve uniform blending, dispersion, and homogenization directly inside the pipeline.

Customizable for Process Requirements

Each mixer can be designed according to pipe size, flow rate, viscosity, pressure drop, material compatibility, element type, mixing length, and required mixing quality.

Energy-Efficient Performance

Static mixers use the existing flow energy of the process stream, making them an efficient solution for continuous mixing applications with no separate agitator drive requirement.

Improved Chemical Dosing

Static mixers support better distribution of injected chemicals, additives, or reagents, helping reduce overdosing, improve reaction efficiency, and minimize process waste.

Low Maintenance Operation

With removable screens and optional quick-opening covers, TEE strainers allow easier cleaning or replacement of the straining element, helping reduce downtime and maintenance effort.

No Moving Parts

The full-bore electromagnetic design eliminates mechanical wear, reducing maintenance requirements.

Suitable for Wide Industrial Use

Static mixers can be used for liquids, gases, slurries, viscous fluids, and multiphase applications across chemical, petrochemical, water treatment, pharmaceutical, food processing, and general manufacturing industries.
