The Georg Fischer Signet 515 Rotor-X Paddlewheel Flow Sensor is a rugged and highly reliable
flow measurement solution designed for accurate liquid flow monitoring in industrial process
systems. Engineered by Georg Fischer Signet, the 515 Rotor-X sensor uses paddlewheel
technology to provide highly repeatable flow measurement with minimal maintenance
requirements. Its self-powered sinusoidal frequency output allows direct integration with flow
meters, transmitters, and process control systems.
Designed for versatility and durability, the 515 Rotor-X is available in multiple material
configurations including polypropylene (PP) and PVDF, making it suitable for a wide range of
corrosive and non-corrosive process liquids. The sensor supports installation in pipe sizes
ranging from DN15 to DN900 using custom fittings such as tees, saddles, and weldolets for
accurate insertion depth and reliable performance.
The wide flow measurement range of 0.3 to 6 m/s allows the sensor to operate efficiently in low
pressure and full-pipe liquid systems. With its robust industrial design and low pressure drop
characteristics, the 515 Rotor-X is widely used in water treatment, chemical processing, filtration
systems, and industrial automation applications.
