Unlike standard orifice plates used mainly for flow measurement, a restriction orifice plate is
primarily designed for pressure reduction and flow control. The bore diameter, plate

rate, pressure, temperature, fluid type, density, viscosity, and required pressure drop. Single
stage restriction orifice plates are suitable when the required pressure reduction can be
