The TEE Strainer from IPS Automation is an industrial pipeline filtration component designed to
remove solid particles, debris, rust, scale, sand, and other foreign materials from liquid, gas,
and steam lines. Built in a compact T-shaped body design, it helps protect downstream
equipment such as pumps, valves, flow meters, compressors, heat exchangers, regulators, and
process instruments from clogging, wear, and operational damage. Tee strainers are commonly
used where reliable inline filtration is required with easy access for cleaning and maintenance.
TEE strainers are especially suitable for large-bore pipelines and process systems where a
compact, accessible, and cost-effective straining solution is needed. They can be installed in
horizontal or vertical pipelines and may be supplied with bolted covers, screwed covers, or
quick-opening covers depending on maintenance frequency and application requirements. The
screen or basket element captures unwanted particles while allowing clean process fluid to
continue through the system with controlled pressure drop.
